Better together campaign

There’s been some confusion over Zeplin and how it relates to Figma. Many people see them as competitors, but in fact Zeplin works side by side with Figma in order to smooth out your design delivery hand off.


How to design a landing page and ads that can let users know that Zeplin works with (not against) Figma?

Context

Zeplin is a plugin of Figma, not a design tool. When designers are ready to finalize their designs, they import it into Zeplin to be handed off to developers.

Discovery & Ideation

By blending colors, shapes, and fonts we were able to show the unity between Figma and Zeplin products. We created a brand that’s half Figma and half Zeplin.

With that accomplished we shared this new brand guideline with Oddfellows who helped create our video ads.

Landing page

Using our new brand guidelines, I iterated on many different styles to see which one set the right tone. Specifically, I wanted to incorporate animation that reflected the Oddfellow videos throughout the page. Since many users would be directed to this page from the videos and ads, I wanted to make sure that everything felt cohesive.

Our finished landing page became one of the most visited pages on our website with 80% of visitors going on to visit our homepage. Overall, this was a very successful campaign that can be linked to some of our biggest logos.


Social media

Part of the success for our campaign was due to our heavily marketed ads. Before we launched our videos, I created a series of social media ads that followed our new theme. Our marketing team was able to launch them on all social media platforms which aided in our company awareness.
